CSASC Student-Athletes of the Month January 2022

Daryan Chadwick


Daryan Chadwick is a Grade 12 student at St. Peter’s  Catholic Secondary School in Barrie.  She was nominated by the Panthers Co-Curricular Chairperson, Carla Morrison who said:

“This Fall, Daryan was an instrumental part of two teams: the Panther’s Flag Football team and Senior Girls Basketball team. On the court, Daryan was not only a skilled player, but she also provided leadership to a young varsity crew throughout the entire season. While leading the Panthers Basketball team, Daryan also contributed to the success of the Flag Football team. She helped the Panthers defeat long standing rivals, St. Joan of Arc C.H.S. for the CSASC Championship title.”

“Following a successful fall season, Daryan quickly moved into the winter sports season, and proved to be a dominant force on the Senior Girls’ volleyball team. Daryan has helped the girls achieve their 3-O record thus far this season.  Along with her outstanding contributions to athletics this fall and winter, Daryan is also an honour roll student, managing a full-load of grade 12 courses.”

Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe

Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe is a Grade 11 student at St. Peter’s  Catholic Secondary School in Barrie.  He was nominated by the Panthers Co-Curricular Chairperson, Carla Morrison who said:

“Ethan was an instrumental part of three teams this fall, coming away with two GBSSA Championships for Senior Boys’ Volleyball, and Senior Tennis in the Boys’ Doubles category and placing 2nd at the GBSSA Cross Country Running Championship. He played a large role in bringing the Senior Boys’ Volleyball team to their third consecutive GBSSA Championship with his fabulous skills, vision and decision making as their setter.”

Furthermore, “Ethan demonstrated excellent leadership on the Cross Country team this year. He helped his coaches teach new athletes about the technical aspects and training fundamentals.  Along with his outstanding contributions to athletics this fall, Ethan was also an honour roll student.”
