On Tuesday, April 12, St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School hosted the annual CSASC Senior Badminton Championships!
“What a great day of badminton with a lot of exciting matches throughout the day. A special thanks to Laura Gulley and her team for providing the facilities for our CSASC Championship and for making the tournament run so smoothly. The Panthers have 3 students-volunteers who deserve a lot of credit for keeping track of 5 competitions, calling matches, and ensuring courts were always being used,” reflected Peter Kosturek, Co-Convenor of the Senior Badminton Championship and interim Co-Curricular Chairperson at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School.
Laura Gulley, secondary school teacher, co-convenor of yesterday’s Senior Badminton Championship and long-time athletic leader at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, shared, “The student-athletes were amazing all day. It was a successful event!”
