Student-athletes have been ecstatic to hit the trails this season. All races, both elementary level and secondary, have been well attended and the competition has been strong across all participating schools. This week, our secondary cross country runners will compete at the GBSSA Championships at Highlands Nordic Centre in Duntroon on Thursday, October 27.

At the elementary level, a special mention goes to Joe Forte from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Collingwood for convening the County Championship at Mount St. Louis Moonstone on October 19, to Jeff Dorion of St. Michael the Archangel in Barrie for convening the Barrie Centre Regionals at Sunnidale Park on October 13, and to all other teacher-coaches for going above and beyond for your students!
