Excitement is mounting in anticipation of the 19th annual “Play Hockey, Fight Cancer” event, set to take place at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena, on Wednesday, December 13. This revered tradition hosted by Our Lady of the Bay Catholic High School, brings school communities together for an unforgettable day of hockey, and more importantly goodwill.
Last year, it was the Patrick Fogarty Flames who travelled to Collingwood, and this year it’s the St. Theresa’s Thunder who will lace up their skates against the Hurricanes. With the girls’ game beginning at 10:30 a.m. & the boys’ game at 11:45 a.m. this event will be packed with school spirit while showcasing quality hockey, and raising funds for local families in need. Donations will be graciously accepted at the arena doors.
