On Thursday, May 26, Holy Trinity Catholic High School hosted Huntsville High School for the GBSSA Senior Girls Soccer Championship in Bradford. The Tigers were successful in defeating the Hoyas by a score of 5-0; however, both teams will advance to the OFSAA Girls AA Soccer Championship later this week. This year marks a special OFSAA for Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board because one of our own secondary schools, Holy Trinity CHS is hosting the event.
The HT school community has played a significant part in organizing this event with an unbelievable amount of support from fellow teachers, administrators, retired teacher-coaches as well students. Several classes are participating in the 3 day event as team liaisons, first aid helpers, ball retrievers, as well as live videographers as part of the HT Media crew. For more information on the layout of the venues, feel free to check out the aerial footage captured by HT Media. To watch the live streamed games, go to HT Media on YouTube.
Everyone is very much looking forward to the quality display of athleticism that is guaranteed at a provincial championship. Come check out this awesome event in Bradford at the main venue, Henderson Memorial Park from Thursday, June 2 to Saturday, June 4, 2022.
