Wednesday, December 6, 2023, marks the 25th year of the Monsignor Clair Cup’s existence. This event shares a fantastic lens of what school spirit at three Barrie catholic high schools combined with the sport of hockey, looks like. It’s guaranteed to be highly competitive on the ice and in the stands at Paul Sadlon Arena!
The day will begin with students performing the national anthem, followed by the Boys’ Semi Final at 9:35 a.m.- St. Joan of Arc vs St. Joseph’s, the Girls’ Semi Final at 10:25 a.m.- St. Peter’s vs St. Joan of Arc, followed by some highly anticipated entertainment from school administrators, then the Boys’ Final at 11:30 a.m.- St. Peter’s Panthers ready to face the semi finalists, and finally, the Girls’ Final at 12:40 p.m.- with the Jaguars ready to take on the successful semi finalist. Everyone is looking forward to special guest appearances, and most of all, the school spirit dances throughout the day.
We are thrilled to share that the day will be live streamed thanks to the efforts of the highly skilled Communication/Information Technology staff and students from St. Peter’s CSS and Holy Trinity CHS. There will be coverage from 9:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at the following links:
